Hope and Monsters
There was once a young girl who loved her life. She'd grown up in a home full of love and family, her friends were true and she always had good food in her tummy. She enjoyed school and made good grades, got to say a speech during her high school graduation and went to college. There was nothing in her life to produce any melancholy, any hardship, any enmity. The only things she had to fear were the monsters in her dreams, but they weren't real fears. Lying between her blankets on her comfortable, safe bed, the monsters never existed longer than the time she took to realize she was in the waking world. All she knew, and had ever known, was pe
